If you’re still dreaming about that book you’ve always wanted to write, now is your time to put pen to paper — or hands to keyboard.

On April 2, the Tri-City Wordsmiths hosts author Christina Myers for a talk called “Getting to the Finish Line: Strategies for Writing a First Draft.”

Myers will hold the workshop in person and via Zoom at 2 p.m. in Room 136 of the City Centre branch of the Coquitlam Public Library (1169 Pinetree Way); for an online link, email tri.city.wordsmiths@gmail.com.

A freelance writer and editor, Myers penned The List of Last Chances and Big: Stories about Life in Plus-Sized Bodies.

She has degrees in journalism and psychology TRU and UBC, respectively, and is an alumnus of the Writer’s Studio at SFU.
