With the holiday shopping season now in full swing, the Blackberry Artists Society is launching its 18th annual Christmas Marketplace next Thursday.
The opening reception for Winter Treasures, held at the Port Moody Arts Centre, runs from 6 to 8 p.m. and original art for sale will be replenished until the show ends on Dec. 18. As part of the display, the Tri-City Potters have made 60 plates - with proceeds going to PMAC.
As well, the arts hub will host a girls' night on Dec. 4 from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event in the Appleyard Parlour will include a spa treatment and champagne and personal shoppers will be on hand during the night. The cost is $10. Call 604-931-2008 or visit pomoarts.ca.
