Port Coquitlam will show four family-friendly flicks this summer as part of its annual Cinema Under the Stars program, sponsored by G&F Financial Group.
The city's 26 ft tall silver screen will go up at two city parks, weather permitting, on:
July 11 at 9 p.m.: Monsters University (Sun Valley);
July 25 at 9 p.m.: Despicable Me 2 (Sun Valley);
Aug. 8 at 8:45 p.m.: The Amazing Spiderman 2 (Gates);
and Aug. 22 at 8:45 p.m.: Thor 2 (Gates).
Bring a blanket and bug spray and pack a picnic. And if it rains, the film night will be moved to the next Friday. Call 604-927-8400.
