A Coquitlam actor will star this month in the Capilano University production ofPride and Prejudice.
Grace Cullingworth, a Gleneagle secondary graduate, will play Elizabeth Bennet in the show that opens Nov. 14 at the Blueshore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts on campus (2055 Purcell Way, North Vancouver).

PRINTMAKING
The first of two workshops led by Saskia Jetten will start tomorrow (Thursday) at Coquitlam's Place des Arts.

Family art classes - with a holiday theme - will be offered this fall at Coquitlam's Evergreen Cultural Centre.

Canadian rockers Our Lady Peace will headline the first New Year's eve at the new Hard Rock Casino Vancouver in Coquitlam, which opens Dec. 20.

LIBRARY ART
A library chain that includes Port Coquitlam's Terry Fox Library is looking for a First Nations artist-in-residence.
The Fraser Valley Regional Library wants to promote aboriginal arts in its community branches, which serve nearly 700,000 residents in the region. The chosen artist will tour 12 FVRL locations to work on an art project next year; the artist can work with any media. For more information, visit fvrl.ca (under the Careers tab).
PRO-D DAY
Tri-City kids on a Pro-D Day on Friday can take a visual arts and ceramics course at the Port Moody Arts Centre.
The facility (2425 St. John's St.) is offering the full-day program to children aged five to 12.
