Get out that glitter and slap on those tight pants next month for Disco Fever, the fourth annual Impromptu fundraiser for Place des Arts.
The Coquitlam art hub is fast-forwarding two decades for its gala, from last year's 1958 Golden Age of TV theme to the Studio 54 scene of the '70s.
"Hustlers" can take part in dancing, entertainment and auctions. And among the prizes for bidders are a round trip for two on VIA Rail from Vancouver to Jasper plus a two-night stay at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, a date night package and a family-fun experience.
Early bird tickets at $50 - or $80 for the VIP experience - are now on sale for the Oct. 18 event that supports Place des Arts' education programs.
After Sept. 30, the price goes up $10.
