Coquitlam playwright Dave Deveau will see the world premiere of his new play this month.

Dead People’s Things, which will be performed by Zee Zee Theatre from April 18 to May 5, tells the tale of Phyllis, a millennial who inherits a house from a hoarder aunt who committed suicide.

The playwright-in-residence for Zee Zee, Deveau based the plot on his late aunt and her home that he currently lives in.

His previous work includes Nelly Boy, Tiny Replicas and My Funny Valentine.
