A Port Coquitlam dancer who is part of the senior professional program at the Goh Ballet has clinched gold in Europe.
Last week, Michelle Khoo, 15, won the top prize at the prestigious Wien Welt Wettbewerb in Vienna for her final performance - a variation from the ballet Coppella; another senior Goh dancer, Chihiro Abe, also won silver, making them the first Canadians to bring home the highest honours in the seven-year history of the International Ballet and Contemporary Dance Competition.
Also in the contest was Cierra Munro of Port Moody.
