Loverboy will be playing its smash hits Hot Girls in Love, Lovin' Every Minute of It and Turn Me Loose for a New Year's Eve show in Coquitlam.

The Juno-award winning Vancouver rock band - made up of Mike Reno, Paul Dean, Doug Johnson, Matt Frenette and Ken "Spider" Sinnaeve -takes to the Hard Rock Casino theatre stage at 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 31.

This summer, the multi-platinum group released its new album, titled Unfinished Business, its first original studio recording in seven years.

Many songs such as Dean's Come Undone were composed years ago.

"These are tracks we'd recorded over the years and we just decided to complete them and release the album to show our appreciation to the fans who have supported us all this time," Dean stated on the band's website, noting the album moniker was decided by a Facebook vote.

The album also includes War Bride - a song played once live in 1979 before Loverboy signed with Columbia Records - and You Play the Star.

Tickets for the show at the Hard Rock Casino (2080 United Blvd., Coquitlam) are through Ticketmaster; a dinner will be held at 7:30 p.m. as well.
