Auditions will be held next month for teens wanting to be part of a new theatre company in Coquitlam.
Young thespians aged 13 to 17 can try out on Sunday, June 9, for the Place des Arts troupe that launches in September and meets twice a week.
Led by director Tim Perez and skills coach Amy Feld, the young actors will also work with actor and teacher Patti Allan for a December performance of an ensemble-created original script.
And in May 2014, the actors will present Spoon River Anthology byCharles Aidman, conceived from Edgar Lee Master's collection of poems of the same name.
