Join a Coquitlam-based wind group this weekend for an Old World Christmas special.
The Pacific Symphonic Wind Ensemble will pipe out traditional tunes for its holiday concert at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way) on Saturday, Dec. 13 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $20/$15/$12. Call 604-927-6555.

Carollers will get you into the Christmas spirit as they perform at Coquitlam's Innovation Centre (1207 Pinetree Way) this month at 7 p.m.
On Thursday, the Coquitlam Carole Society will entertain while, on Dec. 17, staff from Target will sing and offer hot cocoa - for a donation - and on Dec. 22, the city wants to form the largest group to sing Jingle Bells; the first 100 people to show up will get a free jingle bell as a souvenir.
