Does your dog have a creative side?
Bring it to Place des Arts on Sept. 8, when the Coquitlam arts hub will host its second annual PAWcasso outdoor painting class with pooches.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., artist and pet lover Ruth Hoyem will guide masters and their animals to make masterpieces with non-toxic paints.
To participate, dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations and be leashed during the event — at all times. Light snacks will be served and a cash wine bar will be open.

Five other gatherings are lined up: Festive Felting on Dec. 7; Books with Burgundy on Feb. 1; Pottery, Pizza and Pinot on March 1; Perspective and Prosecco on April 26; and Palette . . . eat, paint, create on May 10.
