RCM GOLD

Four Tri-City music students clinched their gold medals on Sunday for achieving the highest marks in B.C. on their Royal Conservatory exams.

The accolades were presented to Grace Chen, 14, for her Grade 7 piano; Luca Formigoni, five, for Preparatory A piano; Da Hye Jung, 14, for Grade 7 flute; and Shu Han Zhang, 17, for Grade 10 flute.

CHINESE DANCE

The Vancouver Beauty Dance World, which has a site in Coquitlam, will mark its fifth anniversary with a performance on Sunday.

The Chinese dance show will take place at the Evergreen Cultural Centre (1205 Pinetree Way) at 7:30 p.m.

LEIGH BOARD

New board members are being sought for Port Moody's Friends of Leigh Square Society.

The group's annual general meeting will take place on March 25 at 7 p.m. at the Leigh Square Community Arts Village (2253 Leigh Sq., behind PoCo city hall). The non-profit society works with the city to grow the arts and culture scene.
