Port Moody’s civic arts centre is celebrating its silver anniversary with a party this month.
PoMoArts (formerly known as the Port Moody Arts Centre) will mark 25 years with an event called ArtSee, an open house that pays tribute to past and current creators, instructors and students.
The bash on Aug. 25 from 3 to 6 p.m. will also include a live art demonstration, art activities and an art sale, where 25 pieces will be available for a $25 donation in support of the hub’s fundraiser.
In addition, attendees can hear live music and see performances and a Little Campers’ showcase.
Refreshments from Brave Brewery, Sweet Talk Donuts and Taps and Tacos will be served.
