Several Tri-City dancers were in California this summer to learn new steps, film a video and see a live taping of So You Think You Can Dance.
The students with Mellado Dance Elite, which has a studio in Port Coquitlam, were at The Edge Performing Arts Center and Millennium in Los Angeles, and rehearsed at Nappy Tabs for their dance video, which can be seen on YouTube.
Among those who took part were: Tess Egan; Hailey Gemmell; Ashleigh Gemmell; Lexie Hawker; Gaby Serrano; Kenley Knock (teacher); Olivia Poirier; Kristina Quat; Meagan Roubini; Chelsea Henderson; and Carla Mellado-Robertson (teacher/director).
