Seven students with a Port Coquitlam studio are off to Poland and Germany this winter to compete in the World Dance Competition.
The teens with the Coastal Edge Dance Centre are part of the Canadian National Dance Team, which is made up of 60 other dancers from across the country.
They are (from left to right) Samantha Martin, Martha Krepa, Nicole Robb, Emily Flavin, Zakiah Grant and Isabelle Flavin (not pictured is Katheryn Isfeld).
To compete in Europe, the dancers are required to raise their own funds for transportation and accommodation.
