Singer Sam Stouten, guitarist Brayson Wong, Mariela Shuley, Jessica Vandergulik, drummer Myles Philpott and bassist Mady Jack of Rumours will perform next week as part of Terry Fox secondary's Rock the Fox.
Steve Sainas, Rock School and recording arts teacher at the Port Coquitlam high school, has 11 bands lined up for each night on May 13, 14 and 15 to close the semester.
Besides Rumours - a Fleetwood Mac tribute ensemble that plays next Wednesday - other acts will play covers from the Arctic Monkeys, Muse, REM and ABBA.
Some original songs will also be performed.
Doors open at 6:30 for the 7 p.m. shows at Terry Fox Theatre (1260 Riverwood Gate). Tickets at $5 are available through the music office or at the doors, with proceeds supporting the Rock School and the recording arts programs.
