Three new exhibits will open on Thursday at the Port Moody Arts Centre, two of them featuring the same artist.
The ceramic work of Robert Shiozaki — a PMAC faculty instructor — will appear in Functures; Functional Sculptures, a show with Anyuta Gusakova that will appear in the Canadian Pacific Gallery, as well as in Being In the Round, a display with furniture designer Peter Chen.
Meanwhile, mixed media by Moira Calder will be highlighted in the Suncor Gallery for Messages from Vancouver. In it, Calder shows the city between 2013 and ‘14 through photographs, drawings, collage and paintings.
The opening reception for the three exhibits is Aug. 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. at PMAC (2425 St. Johns St.). Admission is free and the artists will be in attendance. The displays run until Sept. 22.
