And, on Friday, the young artists will perform live at Gallagher's Coffee Bar with a special guest in the crowd: Ryan Guldemond, guitarist/vocalist of the Vancouver-based indie rock band Mother Mother. He is also expected to play as part of the evening program.

The year-end recital, hosted by Music BC Charitable Foundation, a non-profit that supports music education including SONG, will feature the 15 students at 7:30 p.m. at the cafe (232 Newport Dr., Port Moody).
