In support of Culture Days and the advanced planning running up to the Culture Days weekend this fall, the Evergreen Cultural Centre is opening its doors to the public and hosting afree information session on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m.
Culture Days is a collaborative movement to encourageawareness,participation andengagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
Now in its fourth year, this Canada-wide celebration represents the largest-ever public participation campaign undertaken by the arts and cultural community in this country.
Culture Days will featurefree hands-on activities that invite the public to participate in the "behind-the-scenes" world of artists, creators, historians, architects, curators and designers at work.
Through this exchange, artists and creators have a unique opportunity to engage people of all ages in their creative practice. Culture Days will take placeSept. 27 to 29 - in all provinces and territories.
