International Artist Day will be celebrated at the Port Moody Arts Centre next week with a "pop-up event." Arts organizers have invited dozens of Tri-City craftspeople to the St. John's Street facility to make artist trading cards on Oct. 24. The public can drop in between 5 and 8 p.m. to watch the action unfold. The small, original artworks are not meant to sold but traded for other pieces. The session comes a day before the designated International Artist Day on Oct. 25, Pablo Picasso's birthday. For more on the PMAC event, call 604-931-2008.
