Strong female characters are the topic for the next Writers in our Midst talk (WioM).
Tri-city authors Colleen van Niekerk, Claire Lawrence, Debra Purdy Kong and Erik D’Souza — each of whom have penned stories with compelling female protagonists — will lead the conversation.
Last month, Port Moody’s Van Niekerk saw her debut novel, A Conspiracy of Mothers, published by Little A, which is the literary fiction and nonfiction imprint of Amazon Publishing.
It's a story about political turmoil in South Africa that’s set in 1994.
