Thirteen Tri-City dancers will be on stage this month for a seasonal ballet favourite.
The Nutcracker by the Royal City Youth Ballet Company, which is marking its 25th year, includes Anmore's Isabella Lyons as the Snow Queen; Morgan Crawford, Amy Lewis and Sydney Turner as baby mice; Taylor Rae Gevatkoff, Francis Healy and Emma Juhala as party girls; Richelle Gordon and Serena Dudley as part of the party trio; Carina Abubakar as an angel; Kristina Quat and Sage Henshell as cavalrymen; and Chealsea Henderson as a big mouse.
Tickets to the Dec. 6 show at the Michael J. Fox Theatre in Burnaby, the Dec. 8 performance at New Westminster's Massey Theatre and the Surrey Arts Centre's events from Dec. 13 to 15 are still available.
