TUTS shows with Tri-City talent extended a week

Coquitlam triple threat and Gleneagle secondary graduate Jennifer Gillis is currently starring as Maria in West Side Story at Mackin Bowl in Stanley Park, a production that Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS) recently extended until Aug. 26.

The 20-year-old Capilano University musical theatre student is appearing in the show with Coquitlam’s Kristen Bortignon (Clarice), Port Moody resident Sabrina Miniaci (Rosalia) and Shannon Hanbury (Minnie) of Port Coquitlam.

Meanwhile, Coquitlam’s Nicholas Bradbury is Lefou in TUTS’ Beauty and the Beast, which also had its run lengthened by a week until Aug. 27.
