Well-loved stage director dies

A celebration of the life of long-time thespian Gaye LePage will be held March 1 at Coquitlam's Evergreen Cultural Centre.

A celebration of the life of long-time thespian Gaye LePage will be held March 1 at Coquitlam's Evergreen Cultural Centre.

LePage, 72, had been active with and directed plays for Stage 43 Theatrical Society in Coquitlam, Expect Theatre at the Port Moody Arts Centre and the Emerald Pig Theatrical Society in Maple Ridge, among others, before her death on Feb. 8.

A native of England, LePage immigrated to Canada in 1968. She is survived by her daughter, Amanda; son, Nick; and grandson, Jack.
