Students from the Young Actors Project will show their short films and stage plays at Port Moody's Inlet Theatre on Saturday.
The flicks include The Detention, a sitcom, and Deadly Vision, a high school thriller.
As well, The Chess Team, a one-act play by Robert Randall, will feature YAP's teens. Tickets at $9 for the June 9 event at 12:30, 4 and 7:30 p.m. are available by calling 604-318-0881 (for a preview, visit youtu.be/EWDVmNrScEY).
Meanwhile, this summer, Randall will host acting and filmmaking workshops in Coquitlam for youth; no experience is necessary.
