Port Moody’s Boathouse Restaurant is open again — four months after it was closed by a kitchen fire.

The dining establishment located at Rocky Point Park announced its reopening on its social media channels today (Sept. 21), boasting revamped food and beverage menus.

Some of the featured items on its dinner menu include a mixed seafood grill with salmon, prawns, scallops and crab stuffed prawns, PEI lobster tails and shellfish cioppino.

The restaurant closed last May after an early-morning fire in its kitchen.

It took firefighters about an hour to totally extinguish the blaze, and another three others to pull down drywall to ensure there were no pockets of flame left behind.

The building also suffered extensive water damage.
