Conversations about Race
Hear speakers at the Coquitlam Public Library talk about race in Canada as part of its fall series. Tonight, Christine Mackenzie, a First Nation artist and facilitator from the Kwakiutl Nation, will discuss Indigenous identity and culture at the City Centre branch (1169 Pinetree Way, Coquitlam). The event runs from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Registration is encouraged, but drop-ins are welcome.

Discover the history of Port Moody with author and former Belcarra mayor Ralph Drew, who is releasing his new book Terminus Town: Port Moody’s Transition Through Time at POMO Museum (2734 Murray St., Port Moody). His talk is from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Entry is by donation. Pre-registration is now sold out; however, there is a wait list.
