Print copies of the Tri-City News' annual A-List of top businesses, restaurants, services and activities are being distributed to 36,000 homes by Canada Post.

Where's the best place to get sushi in Coquitlam? The best view in Port Coquitlam? The top chiropractic clinic in Port Moody to get that kink in your back corrected?

The Tri-City News' annual A-List is out with answers to these burning questions and hundreds more submitted by our readers and even prominent members of the three communities.

Respondents were also eligible to win a $500 gift card from the merchants at NewPort Village. The random draw was won by Sharon McRae.

The listings of top restaurants, businesses, services, places to go and things to do were compiled from thousands of responses to the News' special online poll that ran through six weeks last summer.

Publisher Lara Graham said recognition seemed to favour those businesses that "go above and beyond to ensure customers are treated as people, not dollar signs," while the individuals highlighted stand out for their dedication to engaging with their community to help make it a better place.

Every A-List business will receive a special A-List logo to display in their window and in their marketing materials.

"The owners are proud to server our growing region and are eager to show off their accomplishments," Graham said.

Where can I find the A-List?

And while the Tri-City News has been exclusively online since last August, 36,000 printed copies of the A-List are being distributed to readers by Canada Post.

You’ll also find it on our website, with its own special tab in the menu bar right across the top of our home page.
