A man who was caught on camera allegedly keying a parked car at Belcarra Regional Park last month has been identified by the Coquitlam RCMP.
The incident occurred on Sept. 14 when police said the suspect keyed a car that was equipped with a motion-activated camera, which recorded the event.
Police released the images of the suspect last week and on Wednesday announced they had identified the man that was photographed.
"We would like to thank everyone who called us with information on the man who allegedly keyed a vehicle," said Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung. "Although he was identified, our work is not over yet. In the coming days, we will be working on this investigation to bring it to a successful conclusion."
Police have not released the name of the man to the public.
