Alleged perfume thief sought by Coquitlam RCMP

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole a bottle of men's fragrance from a drug store in the 3000-block of the Lougheed Highway on Feb. 19.

Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who allegedly stole a bottle of men's fragrance from a drug store in the 3000-block of the Lougheed Highway on Feb. 19.

When the suspect was approached by an employee at the store, he allegedly made threats, saying he had a gun. No weapon was found.

The suspect is described as a male in his early 5'8", 130 lbs. male in his early 20s. He has a slim build and was seen wearing a black ball cap with white graphics on it, a black hoodie underneath a black Adidas track suit with white stripes and brown/black runners. He was last seen heading westbound on foot on the Lougheed Highway after leaving the store.
