Would you like a degree with that?
That's a question McDonald’s Canada managers might be asking themselves as they ponder future education opportunities that could lead to higher pay and better jobs.
This week, the the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) and McDonald’s Canada announced a partnership that creates pathways for McDonald’s restaurant managers to pursue degree, certificate and diploma programs at UFV.
The partnership will allow McDonald’s restaurant managers to pursue an education while still working, and reduce the time and resources required to attain that education.
Among the programs they might consider are a bachelor of integrated studies, a hospitality and event planning certificate, a management skills certificate or a general studies diploma.
Advanced placement is available to any McDonald’s restaurant manager across Canada, thanks to online and open learning opportunities.
