Business excellence nominees announced

Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce nominees will be feted at a lunch at Westwood Plateau in Coquitlam Oct. 29

The Cotton Candy Kids, including Robbie, Brandon and Dawson Hodge, are the youngest members of the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce, having joined in 2013. Their confectionery business, which also supports several fundraisers, including school PACs, has been nominated for a small business excellence award.

Some of Tri-Cities best and brightest are nominees for the 2015 Business Excellence Awards.

The Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerece announced the nominees Thursday and will be honoring them at a special luncheon at Westwood Plateau Golf and Country Club Oct. 29.

"Each of the nominated businesses and individuals has demonstrated excellence in business and a passion for our community," according to the chamber in a statement.
