What do you know about Port Moody's budget, and what changes would you propose?

"One of the concerns we've got is the soccer fields. There will be a lot of opportunities coming with the development, so we can be looking at having developers provide some of the services and not have the city have to do it."

What issues will the Evergreen Line bring (good or bad) and how should those be handled?

"Public safety is a big concern for a lot of people and I know the Port Moody Police department is working on that. Also, development and what is that going to look like, people want to make sure development stays in line with the character of Port Moody."

What does Port Moody's "small-town charm" mean to you, and specify how you would preserve it.

"It's certainly one of the reasons we chose Port Moody when we did - it's a very vibrant city. We can have densification that still fits in with the character of Port Moody. We can do respectful development in Moody Centre and still get the densification we need."

What large infrastructure/capital project do you think Port Moody should build next?

"I know our recreation facilities are at their max, the library is at maximum capacity and the soccer fields are at maximum capacity. I can't say at this point which one would have to take priority."

Name two other top issues facing the city, and how you would tackle them.

"We have an issue with traffic congestion and we're working on the master transportation plan but it's not enough - we have to work at the regional level. We also need to look at expanding Rocky Point Park and increasing the green space with the development we're going to be having."
