A Port Coquitlam resident whose car was among dozens that were keyed last week in the PoCo West Coast Express parking lot has been left wondering how anyone could be so mean-spirited.

Steve Bradley said he discovered on Nov. 4 that both sides of his "pride and joy" were keyed the day before while he was parked. He said a friend had the same done to his car, as did a fellow train passenger with whom he regularly sits.

"I'm very fortunate, the $300 deductible doesn't bother me," Bradley said. "But Christmas is getting closer and closer, a lot of people can't afford this. Why would you do this to people?"

Coquitlam RCMP said there may have been up to 50 car keying reports that came in and the community police office was looking into it.
