Drivers in Burquitlam will notice some changes on their main route for the next few weeks.
Clarke Road northbound will be temporarily closed between Cottonwood and Smith avenues Monday through Saturday (9 a.m. to 3 p.m.) as construction continues on the elevated guideway for the Evergreen Line.
The closures will create the space workers need to build a pair of columns on the east side of the roadway. The work is anticipated to take three weeks.
Drivers should also be aware that temporary construction fencing will be installed around the work area, there will be temporary changes to access and some temporary parking restrictions for businesses at 508 Clarke Rd. as part of the work.
