The city of Coquitlam will officially unveil a newly-refurbished turf field at Town Centre Park this weekend.
A celebration will be held at the park's north field tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 4) between 10 and 10:30 a.m. The public is invited to attend what will be the first official practice on the field, featuring several different user groups.
The north field was a large natural grass area typically used for soccer and baseball. It was resurfaced over the summer and new lights have been installed.
