An early-morning home invasion on Monday left a Port Coquitlam resident with minor injuries.
Coquitlam RCMP Cpl. Jamie Chung said at about 4:15 a.m., a number of suspects forced their way into the home, on Coast Meridian Road near Chelsea Avenue, and got away with an undisclosed number of items.
The victim is not known to police and there did not appear to be any association to drugs or other illegal activities, such as a marijuana grow operation.
Forensic identification officers combed through the house and police are continuing their investigation.
