A Coquitlam man is facing charges after police seized drugs, weapons and stolen property during the execution of a search warrant on a Rochester Avenue home last month.
Jared Davidson will be in court next week on two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purposes of trafficking and three counts of possession of stolen property.
He has also been charged with possessing a dangerous weapon and $2,500 in cash was seized during the search. A second man was arrested at the scene but later released without charges.
Police said that Davidson's residence was the target of several home invasions but he never cooperated with investigators. Mounties had identified the 34-year-old as a priority target prior to his arrest.
Davidson has been released on bail with strict conditions. He is not allowed to possess a firearm, cross-bow or any other prohibited weapon and he is prohibited from using a mobile communication device. He is also not to consume controlled substances.
He is scheduled to appear in Port Coquitlam Provincial Court on November 26.
