The Coquitlam RCMP cordoned off a home on Coast Meridian Road just south of Prairie Avenue Friday morning.
Yellow caution tape could be seen across the front and back of a property, with several police cruisers standing guard. Officers on the scene would not say why they were watching the house and calls to the Coquitlam RCMP have yet to be returned.
Cruisers with flashing lights parked in front of the home reduced Coast Meridian to single-lane traffic southbound, backing up vehicles all the way to Prairie Avenue during the Friday morning rush hour.
