Coquitlam RCMP are reaching out to help support the family of an Alberta RCMP officer shot in the line of duty on Jan. 17.
Const. David Wynn, 42, died in hospital Wednesday morning. He was shot in the head while responding to a call at a St. Albert casino just outside of Edmonton and never regained consciousness.
As a way of expressing support for Wynn's family, friends and fellow officers in St. Albert, the Coquitlam RCMP has set up condolence books at the main detachment (2986 Guildford Way, Coquitlam) and at its community police stations (552 Clarke Rd. and 1059 Ridgeway Ave. in Coquitlam, 3312 Coast Meridian Rd. and 2581 Mary Hill Rd. in Port Coquitlam).
