Coquitlam RCMP are hoping to improve their customer service by launching a survey. Supt. Claude Wilcott said the detachment's front-counter staff serve thousands of clients every year, often the only contact local residents have with the RCMP.

Coquitlam RCMP are hoping to improve their customer service by launching a survey.

Supt. Claude Wilcott said the detachment's front-counter staff serve thousands of clients every year, often the only contact local residents have with the RCMP.

"This program will help us get a sense of how we're doing - what we are doing well and what we could be doing better," he said in a release.

The survey, which covers everything from wait times to signage and staff greetings, will be handed out to every front-counter customer. The survey can be filled out in person or online at www.coquitlam.ca/RCMPFrontCounterSurvey.
