Coquitlam RCMP looking for witnesses after man found unconscious on Guildford Way

The man had "significant" injuries to his head when he was found.
Coquitlam RCMP is looking for more information about a man who was found unconscious and injured on Guildford Way late Friday night.

Coquitlam RCMP is looking for witnesses and dash-cam video after a man was found injured and unconscious on Guildford Way near Falcon Drive late Friday night, Dec. 1.

According to a news release, the 56-year-old man was laying in the bike lane on the south side of Guildford. He had "significant" injuries to his head and was subsequently transported to hospital.

The man is believed to have been walking alone, eastbound on the south side of Guildford between 11 and 11:55 p.m.

"Police are attempting to piece together the timeline of events which lead to the man's injuries," said Coquitlam RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Alexa Hodgins.

The man is described as:

  • Six (6) feet tall
  • Heavy build
  • shaved head
  • brown beard
  • blue eyes
  • Wearing....
    • black suit
    • black blazer
    • white dress shirt
    • dark dress shoes or bare feet
