Coquitlam RCMP plea to Moses Liu: 'We are only looking to confirm your well-being'

Coquitlam RCMP are seeking information about Moses Liu, last seen in the Burke Mountain area; Surrey RCMP received a report on April 19 that Liu was missing from his family home

Coquitlam RCMP have issued a plea to missing Moses Liu asking him to confirm he is OK.

Coquitlam RCMP have issued a direct plea to a man last seen in Coquitlam for information about his wellbeing.

Moses Liu’s last known location was in the Burke Mountain area (David Avenue and Coast Meridian) in Coquitlam.

“Police are reaching out to you Moses Liu, to let you know that we only want to confirm your well-being,” Const. Deanna Law, RCMP media spokesperson, stated in a press release.

Const. Law also confirmed that police “will not breach your privacy, or disclose your location. We just need to know that you are safe”.

Surrey RCMP received a report on April 19, 2021, that Liu was missing from his family home.

Liu’s father also wants Moses to know, he has given him extra support and has reached out through email in hopes that it will help.

Liu is described as:

• A 25-year-old Asian male,

• Approximately 5’6 (168 cm), 140 lbs (64 kg) with a slim build,

• Black shoulder length shaggy hair,

• Known to wear thick black rimmed glasses,

• Liu was last seen wearing black pants, a black American Eagle hoody, a blue medical mask, large headphones, and carrying a black backpack.

Police further state: “Moses Liu if this request reaches you, or if anyone has information on Liu’s whereabouts please call the Coquitlam RCMP non-emergency line at 604-945-1550."
