A 64-year-old Coquitlam man suffering from Alzheimer's disease has been reported missing and police are hoping the public can help provide information that leads to his whereabouts.
Shin Noh was reported missing from the area of Lansdowne Drive and Guildford Way Wednesday afternoon after he did not return from a walk. Cpl. Jamie Chung said Noh is in good physical health and could easily travel long distances on foot.
"He is able-bodied. He could walk anywhere by now," Chung said. "Because of his medical condition, we have deemed him a high risk."
Noh is described as an Asian male, 5'6" tall with an average build; he is clean shaven and has black hair, which is greying on the sides. When he left his house, he was wearing a green and blue plaid shirt, dark green pants and a black New York Rangers ball cap.
Anyone who has seen Noh is asked to call Coquitlam RCMP immediately at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2013-27945. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go online at www.solvecrime.ca.
