The Dairy Queen in the 1000-block of Lougheed Highway (across from Ikea) was robbed Wednesday around dinner time and Coquitlam RCMP are looking for information.
Cpl. Jamie Chung said cash was grabbed from the till by a male wearing a light-brown jacket over of a green hoodie, with the hood pulled up, jeans and a bandana covering his face.
"He didn't produce a weapon, nobody was hurt," Chung confirmed, but the man fled in a grey or beige minivan.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p .m. and police are looking for people who may have been in the fast-food restaurant at the time.
"If people happened to see somebody running out from the store," Cpl. Chung said, they should call the RCMP at 6504-945-1550 and quote #2014-3879.
