The Coquitlam RCMP are looking for anyone that may have witnessed the collision at Clarke Road and Glenayre Drive on December 3.
The incident took pace at around 9:30 p.m. when a 23-year-old pedestrian was struck by a new model white Dodge Ram pickup truck that was making a left turn.
Although the pedestrian was hit at low speeds, he suffered serious head injuries and paramedics rushed him to hospital.
The driver of the pickup stated at the scene and cooperated with Traffic Services investigators.
At this point of the investigation it has been determined that neither speed nor alcohol were a contributing factor in the crash, however it is unclear whether the pedestrian was in the crosswalk while crossing Clarke Road.
