Traffic was being detoured around the site of a motor vehicle accident on the Mary Hill Bypass at Broadway shortly before noon Thursday.The crash temporarily detoured westbound traffic off the bypass and on to Broadway. There were no serious injuries reported as a result of the crash.
The closure was expected to remain in effect until about 1:30 p.m. Thursday.Motorists are advised to use Kingsway Avenue as a detour.Eastbound traffic on the Mary Hill Bypass is unaffected by the collision.
Preliminary reports indicate a tandem dump truck ran a red light, striking one cube van and knocking a light standard onto another.
