Businesses considering moving to Coquitlam will now have access to a new online data tool that provides information on the city's economic climate.
The online initiative, which is free to use, provides statistics on industry competition, customer demographics and the local workforce. It also identifies potential competitors and their locations.
According to a city press release, the online resource was setup by Local Intel, with the statistics and demographic information provided by Statistics Canada, the Canada Revenue Agency, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada as well as local data insight firms.
The website was setup by the city's economic development team and is available at www.coquitlam.ca/ecdevstats.
