Detours at United/Mary Hill through October

Drivers using the intersection of United Boulevard at Mary Hill Bypass will encounter nighttime detours starting this week and continuing to the end of October.

Drivers using the intersection of United Boulevard at Mary Hill Bypass will encounter nighttime detours starting this week and continuing to the end of October.

The intermittent detours are weather-dependent and drivers can expect the following:

drivers heading west on the bypass will access United southbound via a detour north to Golden Avenue;

southbound drivers on United will access the eastbound bypass via a detour at Burbidge Street; and,

there will be occasional single-lane alternating traffic in each direction.

Detour routes will be well marked and drivers are asked to watch for road signs and electronic message boards.

The detours are required so crews can complete paving in the area as part of the Port Mann/Highway 1 Improvement Project.
