A good crowd turned out for the inaugural event of Glow: A Women's Evening of Change and Celebration June 1 at the Executive Inn in Coquitlam. Guests sipped martinis, got their pictures taken with Coquitlam firefighters and listened to keynote speakers, such as Ted Kuntz, author of Peace Begins With Me, and Glow organizer Mandi Sellers. They also dined and danced with proceeds going to the BC Cancer Foundation and Tri-City Transitions, which provides programs for women and families.
A business trades how also drew plenty of interest from guests.
